Shawnee Smith (born July 3 1970, weighing 5 inches"3" is an American film and television actress as well as a musician. Smith is best known for her portrayals as Amanda Young in the Saw films, and as Linda in the CBS sitcom Becker. Smith was part of the group metal Fydolla ho, and with who she performed in The United States and United Kingdom. Smith is also a part of Smith & Pyle, an American rock group that formed with Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith, the second daughter of Patricia Smith, an oncology nurse and Jim Smith former US Air Force pilot and financial planner, was born at Orangeburg South Carolina. In Van Nuys, California the Smith family moved when Shawnee was just a baby. Her parents separated after she was two. Her mother married again at the age of eight. Her schooling was at Ranchito Avenue School, Panorama City Los Angeles. Madison Jr. High is located in North Hollywood. North Hollywood High School was situated at North Hollywood, California. Rachel's role in the musical drama dramedy on CW, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2015-2019) won her the Golden Globe Award in 2016 for the Best Actress in Television Series Musical or Comedy as well as in addition to the Critics Choice Award in 2016 for the best actress in the field of TV Comedy as well as the TCA Award in 2016 for Individual Achievement in Comedy.
